International Kockout Mouse Consortium(IKMC) #

개요 #

2007년 3월, Brussels 회의에서 발족한 범 국가적인 프로젝트로써 마우스 유전체 내의 모든 단백질 코딩유전자 각각에 대한 유전자결손마우스배아줄기세포주(mouse embryonic stem cell line)제작, 저장 및 공유활동을 한다. 미국 NIH를 중심으로 유럽, 케나다의 기관들이 참여하였으며, 2012년까지 전체 유전자의 95%에 대한 배아줄기 세포주 보유를 목적으로 하였다. 2011년 약 17000개의 유전자에 대한 conditional knockoutcomplete knockout 마우스 배아줄기세포를 제작하여 보유하고 있다.
